Layal Lutfi is a GcLP Consultant and Business Head for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) at ADAMAS. She is responsible for conducting audits and leading her own team, guiding their work efforts toward the most efficient and profitable business solutions.
Having worked in a wide range of Quality Assurance and business development roles for over 20 years, Layal’s knowledge and expertise helps ensure our team keep producing the excellent work we do.

What does your role entail?
Auditing (GLP, GcLP, GCP, Premarketing PV, Gap Analysis, mock inspection, GMP for IMP, Phase I, Database, Post marketing Distributing partners).
What do you like most about your job?
Challenges, Diversity, Continuous learning and training.
What is the best lesson you’ve learned so far?
Patience and tolerance.
What are your hopes for our industry?
That compliance with GxP practices will remain a requirement for any product that will end up in contact with consumers, therefore we remain a part of the process that provides the GxP services for the industry.
What do you like most about ADAMAS?
Team work, being up to date with regulations, ensuring that quality work is provided.
What is your proudest moment at ADAMAS?
When it is acknowledged that a client is happy with the services I provided.
Before working at ADAMAS, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Managing the company I worked for (Director of Apex-Middle East).
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I like to read, enjoy being with my family and supporting others.
Where’s your favorite place in the world?
Damascus-Syria and Amman-Jordan.
