GCP Audit Expert Yoshihisa Matsuura Joins Global Quality Assurance Consultancy in Japan
GUILDFORD, UK, February 27, 2025 — ADAMAS Consulting, an Ergomed Group company, is expanding its resources in the Asia Pacific (APAC) market with the appointment of Yoshihisa Matsuura as a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) expert. Based in Tokyo, Matsuura will be joining the ADAMAS India team to support the company’s APAC clients, offering strong on-the-ground support, particularly for Japanese auditing services. ADAMAS Consulting is one of the world’s largest Quality Assurance consultancy organizations and has built a reputation for consistently delivering gold-standard independent auditing and risk management consulting services to the healthcare industry.

Matsuura brings over 25 years of experience in quality assurance auditing across pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, and regenerative medicine products. His regulatory expertise includes: Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Post-Marketing Surveillance Practice (GPSP) as well as Good Gene, Cellular, and Tissue-based Products Manufacturing Practice (GCTP) (Japanese regulation). He has experience across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including but not limited to oncology, neurology, endocrinology, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, rheumatology, and infectious diseases.
Prior to this appointment, he served as an independent auditor and quality consultant at a variety of organizations in Japan, including DOT World Co., Ltd; Labcorp; and IQVIA. His publication contributions include “Regulatory Differences Between, Japan, U.S. and EU” for the Society of Quality Assurance and “Interpretation of Japanese GCP” for the Japan Society of Quality Assurance.
